The Klodike Gold Rush Center is now a NATIONAL PARK! Julie Fonseca de Borges, Chief of Interpretation at the Klondike Gold Rush National Park in Seattle, will relate the story that forced 1890s Seattle to become not just a city, but as some say, "the southernmost city in ALASKA".
Our own Kent Questad lived in Colombia years ago, and now leads our club's International Project to help child victims of land mines. Why Colombia? What are we doing? How do we help? Come to his presentation this Thursday to learn how we are using TECHNOLOGY to connect back-country kids to some of the most inspired orthopedic specialists in the world!
DEBBIE MOORE is CHAIRPERSON for this Rotary District Project, which helps employers gain access to a talented, untapped workforce .... people over 18 who have developmental disabilities and want to work. This week our club gives these young folks hands-on experience with MOCK INTERVIEWS.
